寶馬328Li在車頭部分并無明顯配置差異,發動機蓋自大燈上沿開始以楔形向上延伸至前風擋下沿,多條棱線的設計讓新發動機蓋看上去更具動感。加大尺寸的前進氣格柵是這一代3系的顯著特征,此外與格柵緊密相連的全新頭燈組更具侵略性,。同屬新3系獨有的霧燈區域鍍鉻裝飾條被黑色膠帶牢牢遮擋,但整體的線條被明顯地顯露出來。
寶馬328Li的側面可以比較明顯地看出和海外版3系不同的是,后門的尺寸有較為明顯的增加痕跡,側裙后部的線條更趨于平直,這也就意味著它將是一輛地地道道的國產新3系轎車,它將為中國消費者提供更為充裕的后排乘坐空間。
寶馬328Li將會搭載全新4缸渦輪增壓發動機,最大功率為240匹馬力,匹配全新8速自動變速器,新變速箱的前六個擋位采用1:1的齒輪傳動比,最后兩個擋位為超比擋,可以在高速巡航時幫助降低油耗。
